Set this up for my 6-person tent and was surprised how much lighter it felt than my old poles despite being noticeably stronger. The three-times-stronger-than-aluminum claim held up when a gust bent my previous one—this one didn't even flinch.

I’ve been using this pole for a few weeks now, and the heat-treated alloy really feels three times sturdier than my old aluminum one. It fits my tältkåta perfectly and handles rocky ground without a wobble.

Held up perfectly through a windy weekend trip, and I barely noticed the weight in my pack. The hardened alloy really does feel sturdier than the regular aluminum poles I've used before.
