Finally got around to swapping out my old rods and these fiberglass ones slid right into place on my Safir without any fuss. The thin profile makes a big difference for adjusting the smoke opening precisely.

Finally got these as spares for my Safir tent, and they fit perfectly in the sleeve without any extra bending force. The fiberglass is stiff enough to hold the smoke hole open even in a gusty wind, which was my main concern. Glad I picked up a backup set.

I was a bit worried these would snap during installation, but they flexed just right to shape the smoke opening on my Safir tent. Everything fit perfectly and the tent’s been solid in windy weather since I swapped them in.
